As a direct entry student to Duncan of Jordanstone, I had never experienced life drawing in any way before this semester. At the beginning, although being thrown in at the deep end, I feel that my drawings were very simple and not very detail because I was still trying to get to grips with the best way to draw from life and what media I wanted to use to do this. But thanks to Reinhard and the models I feel that over the weeks my skills have improved a lot and if we were to have more life drawing sessions I would be able to work on my drawing skills a lot more. Life drawing is a very helpful thing to do especially on the IED course because it has helped us understand human form and how people move around/ interact with objects and spaces.
